Privacy policy
This explains what personal data we collect on topcomment.ai and why. Contact: hello@topcomment.ai.
What we collect
- When you book a call or order a package: your name, email, website, niche, the package you chose and any note you add.
- When you become a customer: your email, name, website, niche, language, subscription status and the comments we post for you.
- Payments: handled by our payment provider. We receive your name, email, plan and payment status, never your card details.
- Visits: we measure how the site is used with our own anonymous analytics. For each page view we store the page, the site you came from, your country, device type, browser, operating system and how long you stayed. We do not use cookies, we do not store your IP address (a one-way hash that changes every day is used to count unique visitors), and a random session id lives only in your open tab. Bots and crawlers are filtered out and we respect the Do Not Track setting. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
- Emails: we keep the emails we exchange with you.
Why we use it
To reply to you, run the service, take payment, send confirmations and invoices, keep our site secure and understand which pages help people. The legal basis is your request, our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
Cookies
The public pages set no tracking cookies. Signing in to your account sets one strictly necessary cookie that keeps you signed in.
Who processes it
Cloudflare (hosting, database, email), Anthropic (an AI provider, which reads the public text of the website you give us to draft your company research) and our payment provider (payments). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Leads and booking requests for up to 24 months. Customer records for as long as you are a customer plus the period the law requires for accounting. Visit counts are kept in aggregate.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@topcomment.ai. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
